At the beginning of each school year, three outstanding teachers are recognized and receive the BEST Award at Convocation. Last school year the BASD started a new tradition to highlight a support staff member and present them with the title of BASD Employee of the Month.

Dr. Joseph Roy, Superintendent of Schools, surprised Patrick Larkin with the honor of being named the Bethlehem Area School District Employee of the Month for September 2021.

Patrick is the Supervisor of Server Infrastructure and Web Content in the Bethlehem Area School. He has worked for the district for 22 years. Ms. Marie Bachman, Chief Technology Officer stated; “Patrick has worked tirelessly for more than 20 years to keep the District's website, systems, and hardware running efficiently and effectively.

His work has impacted every student who has attended or every employee employed in this District over the years. He deeply cares about his work, is dedicated, and is, simply put, always there when needed. I have had the great fortune of working with, learning from, and having fun with Patrick over so many years. He has impacted my life in such a positive way!”
