PA Educational Improvement Tax Credit
Qualifying businesses can use Pennsylvania’s Education Improvement Tax Credit Program (EITC) to redirect their state taxes to expand on educational opportunities through curriculum enhancement and innovative academic programs that are aligned to state standards. It’s a terrific, nearly cost-free opportunity to make a difference in the lives of our students.
The Bethlehem Area Education Foundation, also known as The Foundation for the Bethlehem Area School District, is pleased to offer regional businesses an opportunity to provide support for our mission and strategic initiatives with two specific programs approved by the EITC.
- Project Lead the Way – a science and technology curriculum program for students at the high school level.
- Forging History & Community in Bethlehem Field Trips– a program for all fifth grade students to learn more about the steelmaking process.
- Dual Enrollment – The dual enrollment program provides BASD students with the opportunity to complete coursework at a post-secondary institution during their high school careers.
