Pennsylvania State Senator from the 18th District, Freedom Class of 1980
State Senator Lisa M. Boscola has spent the majority of her professional career working to improve the lives of Lehigh Valley residents. Born in Bethlehem, Senator Boscola is the proud daughter of a steel worker and life-long resident of the Lehigh Valley.
She is intimately familiar with the issues that face her district and the people she represents. Following her graduation from Freedom, she received her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees from Villanova University cum laude. Lisa is the only woman in the Senate currently elected to a leadership position as Chair of the Senate Democratic Policy Committee, a position she has held since 2011. In the 2019-20 session, she is Democratic Chair of the Consumer Protection and Professional Licensure Committee. She also serves on the Banking and Insurance; Community, Economic, Recreational and Development; Game and Fisheries; and Rules and Executive Nominations Committees.
