Liberty Class of 2009

In high school, Kara was a photographer for the school newspaper. She earned her BS in chemistry from Penn State University, her nursing degree from DeSales University, and her Master's in Nursing from Western Governors University. Kara is the director of Patient Care at Lehigh Valley Hospital - Hecktown Oaks. She is also a certified emergency nurse. Recently, she has traveled to Haiti with LVH to teach best nursing practices and sustainability related to emergency medicine and she continues the effort through tele-education.
